Suspension of MaPrimeRénov': "In which country do they penalize those who do well because of fraud?"

Economy Minister Éric Lombard has announced the temporary suspension of MaPrimeRénov', the energy renovation support scheme launched in 2020. This measure, scheduled for July 1, follows a sharp increase in applications and detected cases of fraud. Antoine Armand, Member of Parliament for Haute-Savoie and former Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industry, reacted to this announcement: "In which country do we penalize people who do things well because there is fraud? In which country do we say, 'We're suspending a scheme because we can't enforce it?'"
